Instrumental Documentation.

Street photography by Canadian autistic photographer Chad Coombs. Downtown Saskatoon Saskatchewan.

The inspiration for the ”Instrumental Documentation" series comes from the struggles Coombs has due to his Autism and the inability to recognize emotions and their subtleties and textures on account of having Alexithymia. As a result of this condition, Coombs is hypersensitive to stimuli and information. This series visually embodies aspects of what it is like for the artist to walk through public streets mentally.
